Addictions – Online Workshop

This course discusses different models of dependency using examples, and considers various treatment options. If you look after or work with children and young people, but do not feel that you know much about drugs, this short course is for you. It will introduce you to the main recreational drugs used in the UK. You will see what they look like and learn a bit about what they do. You will also hear about whether it is possible to know if someone is using a drug. Finally, there will be a brief section on drug laws.
